Who we are

This website is operated by Dylan Ryan, trading as Capa Design Studio, an engineering consultancy based in Barcelona, Spain. You can contact us at hello@capadesignstudio.com.

Dylan Ryan is the data controller for all personal data collected through this website.

What data we collect

We only collect personal data that you voluntarily provide when using the contact form on this site:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your company name (optional)
• A description of your project or enquiry

We do not collect any data automatically beyond what is described in the Cookies section below.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up on a potential project engagement. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, or any automated decision-making.

The legal basis for processing your data is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, responding to a business enquiry you initiated.

How long we keep your data

We retain your enquiry data for up to 2 years from the date of your submission, or until you request that we delete it — whichever comes first.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Formspree (formspree.io) — processes contact form submissions on our behalf. Formspree is GDPR-compliant and acts as a data processor. View their privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which may log your IP address. No personal data from our contact form is shared with Google. View Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Google Analytics — we plan to use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. This service collects anonymised usage data including pages visited, session duration, and approximate location. We will update this policy and add a cookie notice before enabling Analytics. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

Cookies

This site does not currently set any cookies of its own. Google Fonts may result in a request to Google's servers when the page loads, but no cookies are stored on your device by this site.

When Google Analytics is enabled, cookies will be used to track anonymised visitor behaviour. We will update this section and display a consent notice at that time.
